​FAST BOY live for music – it’s been with them their whole lives. The brothers grew up in southern Germany. Their father – a teacher and musician himself – provided their musical foundation: the rehearsal room in the basement was always open, and a piano stood in the living room. Their first performance was in primary school; later, they played in a band with their father. But after graduating from high school, that chapter came to a pause.

Felix and Lucas decided to go to university, moved to different cities, but stayed connected through their shared passion. In 2017, they started sharing an apartment in Berlin, played at house parties as DJs – and began writing their own songs in the kitchen. As the duo Oh Brother, they first gained recognition and stage experience, while also starting to write songs for other artists.

When the world came to a halt in 2020, Felix and Lucas had to rethink everything: “We didn’t have a cent to our name and no idea where we were headed.” So they went back to the basement, starting from scratch. Their love for emotional pop and their brotherly impatience – in the best possible sense – channeled their creativity toward dance-pop. “It was just so much fun,” they agree. Felix leans a bit more toward producing, Lucas a bit more toward singing – but together they share equal responsibility for the energetic signature sound of FAST BOY. Indie influences and Berlin club culture meet playful compositions, deep melancholy, and flawless pop hooks that go straight to the heart – whether on AirPods, on the radio, or on stage.

As of September 2025, their track record looks impressive: they’ve racked up over 4 billion streams as songwriters and have made a name for themselves with features alongside Tiësto, David Guetta, Moby, Oliver Heldens, Robin Schulz, and Topic. Their meteoric rise has already taken them to Europe’s biggest stages: from Parookaville to Hurricane and Southside, to Electric Love Festival and Tomorrowland Winter – they’ve played them all.

Five of their FAST BOY singles have already reached the top five of the German airplay charts: Wave with RAF (#1), Million Good Reasons with Robin Schulz (#2), Where You Are with Nico Santos (#2), Born Again with ClockClock (#3), and Bad Memories with MEDUZA (#4). The latter now has over 600 million streams on Spotify and reached #1 in the airplay charts in seven countries. Resting on their success is not an option. “Of course, we want people to know our songs.
