Korolova and Ekko come together to reveal captivating new record ‘Shining’

Friday, 10 May 2024 – Tomorrowland Music and Selected. – two of dance music’s most esteemed record labels – have teamed up for an exciting collaborative EP, co-released through both imprints. For the third release, Ukrainian female talent Korolova and Norwegian singer/songwriter Ekko have come together to reveal a captivating new record with dream-like yet powerful melodies and blissful vocals, transporting listeners to a realm of pure enchantment.

Korolova: “Ekko's voice and style are incredible. When I heard her voice for the first time, I knew that we were a great match and I am very happy that we found each other and could make this collaboration. We're both on the same wavelength and we express that with the song. I'm looking forward to the release and further collaborations with Ekko.”

Ekko: “’Shining’ is about sticking by each other's side no matter what challenges come our way, and a reminder that even when things seem bleak, there will always be a little light shining through. The song was written late 2022 and was the second song created that day. It happened quickly and organically and immediately had such a profound presence through the theme we developed. I am beyond excited to collaborate with the legendary Korolova on this record, and can’t wait for her to elevate the song and bring it to new heights on stage.”

Tomorrowland Music’s and Selected.’s collaborative EP is made up of a string of brand-new productions by some of electronic music’s finest talents. Having kicked off with the first three releases ‘Heartbeat Slow’ by Astrality, Jyll and Dillistone, ‘Distraction’ by Nu Aspect and Jem Cooke and ‘Shining’ by Korolova and Ekko more new music will be unveiled over the coming months leading up to Tomorrowland Belgium 2024. During the first weekend of Tomorrowland, Tomorrowland Music and German label & playlist giant Selected. will be joining forces to co-host the iconic Crystal Garden stage on Sunday July 21, including performances by Astrality, Ferreck Dawn, James Hype, Korolova, Meduza, Nu Aspect, Siege and more.
